Welcome, Let's Dive Into The Action!

Welcome to Gabi Selig Photography. I capture high-intensity moments in collegiate athletics through fast-paced, editorial-driven sports photography, focused on storytelling, timing, and game-day energy. In addition to my work in athletics, I serve as the Video, Photo, and Social Media Chair for Gamma Phi Beta at the University of South Carolina, where I produce strategic, brand-focused digital content. Where My Passion for Photography Meets Professional Experience

IMG_2011_edited.jpg

I am a sports photographer and digital content creator focused on capturing the intensity, emotion, and energy of athletic performance while producing strategic, brand-driven social media content.

I am a freshman at the University of South Carolina, pursuing a double major in Sports Media and Advertising. I serve as a photographer for The Daily Gamecock and as the Video, Photo, and Social Media Chair for Gamma Phi Beta, leading creative direction and producing high-quality visual content. In this role for the University of South Carolina Gamma Phi Beta, I have worked in collaboration with my social media team to grow the chapter’s social media presence by over 1,000 followers and generate more than 220,000 views in a single month, while executing branded collaborations with companies such as Valentino and Bloom Nutrition.

During High School, I worked with the University of New Hampshire’s Division I football program as a lead photographer, capturing game action, sideline moments, and key visuals used across the program’s media platforms. In this fast-paced environment, I consistently delivered professional-quality content under tight deadlines. I also photographed early morning spring practices, arriving as early as 5:00 a.m. multiple times per week before a full day of high school, demonstrating discipline and time management. This experience strengthened my ability to anticipate action, adapt quickly, and maintain a high standard in demanding settings. I expanded my experience by contributing across additional Division I programs, including basketball and gymnastics.

I served as the lead sports photographer for Oyster River High School, covering over 16 varsity teams and building a strong foundation in visual storytelling across a range of athletic programs.

Through these experiences, I’ve developed a professional approach grounded in storytelling, consistency, and creating content that connects with teams and audiences.

Sports Photography

A collection of sports and action photography capturing the intensity, movement, and emotion of the game. Each image is created with a focus on storytelling, composition, and timing—freezing key moments that define athletic performance. My work highlights not only the action on the field, but also the energy, atmosphere, and emotion surrounding it, delivering impactful visual content designed for both digital platforms and editorial use.

Chapter Media, Partnerships & Brand Growth

In addition to photography, I create and manage digital content designed to grow audiences and strengthen brand identity. I develop strategic, visually engaging content that aligns with current trends, combining creative storytelling with analytics to drive engagement, increase visibility, and support overall brand growth.
